Door at 7:30pm First Comedian at 8pm
First Nations people come for free as our guests.

Expect a night of laughs with an array of comedians including Ting Lim and Anisa Nandaula. Dave’s nephew, Matt Ford, a stand-up in his own right will MC the evening.

There will be snacks available between 7pm and 8pm only. No food will be served once the show starts as we don’t want anyone choking on a vegan hotdog during the laughter.

There will be a full bar service on the night. Under 18s are welcome with a parent or legal guardian. Due to the nature of some of the material (sex, drugs and radical politics) parents should use their own discretion.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and has accessibility toilets.

Brisbane City Council buses 174 and 175 stop near to the venue. Get off at Stop 26, CB Mott Park on Logan Road, Holland Park and the club is a 250 walk from there.

All proceeds directly go to fund the Holland Park campaign to help elect David Ford to oust the LNP Deputy- Mayor.

David Ford is a Bundjalung and Yuggera man with close ties to Holland Park. David has worked for Brisbane City Council for the last five years. The election of a Greens Federal MP for Griffith in 2022 provides a unique and exciting opportunity for Holland Park ward in the 2024 council election. David is passionate about highlighting the following issues in his campaign

  1. The provision of high quality crisis accommodation;

  2. Free and frequently public transport and a focus on accessibility for people with disabilities and the elderly;

  3. More community hubs and funding for the arts, music and cultural activities. The provision of space for people to get together.

Singaporean-born Ting Lim is a stand up comedian, writer and actor of Chinese heritage based in Australia. Her dry sarcastic observations have endeared her to audiences since she represented QLD in the prestigious Melbourne International RAW comedy competition. Since then, she has toured sold-out comedy shows across Australia and opened for Marty Sheargold, Demetri Martin and Beth Stelling. She has been featured on the award winning show, Fisk and written for television.
