Pride March is an affirmation of the LGBTIQA+ community, inspired by the many trans people and unionist solidarity that forms part of our long struggle for equal rights and freedom from discrimination. Join the Queensland Greens at Brisbane Pride March!

Brisbane Pride Rally & March is for the Queer community, families, and allies to gather and march with Pride.

We'll meet on 7 November from 9am at the corner of Ann and Brunswick Streets and march to New Farm Park for Fair Day.

The plan for the day is:

9:00am

  • Gather at Ann and Brunswick Streets

  • Find the Greens, pick up a flag and get ready. There is no specific marching order so it depends on how the different groups come together :)

9:30am

  • Rally begins

  • Speeches from community leaders, activists and allies.

10:00am

  • March starts

  • We walk from the Valley through to New Farm Park.

11:00am

Joining our marching group is free but being fab (and sun & rain smart) is absolutely essential! 

Wear your favourite Greens Pride outfit, or show off your classic Greens shirt. Flags and placards are very welcome. It is likely going to be a wet weather day so dress for rain and wear waterproof shoes!

Remember to bring some water and appropriate sun & rain protection.
