Gold Coast Pride Festival is back and bigger than ever!
Let’s make the most of our biggest local celebration of queer communities and represent our proud record of standing up for LGBTQIA+ rights. The last 2 years we've had excellent turn outs, so let’s keep that momentum going! With 2 elections in the next year, we need to get started on building the movement on the Gold Coast!
Pride Festival 2024 - Saturday June 1st
Beach Parade - Along narrowneck beach
Fair Day - Nearby, at Macintosh Island Park
Access:
- Parking available on both the Gold Coast Highway and Main Beach Paradise sides of the park
- Main Beach light rail stop just a few minutes walk away
Come dressed in your Greens t-shirt and the brightest rainbow colours. (Bonus points for creative costumes!)
Registration with us is essential to gauge numbers.
With the upcoming state election, and the federal election soon after, Pride is an important event to celebrate LGBTQIA+ pride and show solidarity. Politics on the Gold Coast is dominated by conservatives - it’s time to change that.

If you would like to volunteer at our stall or during the march, please contact Tasha at surfcoast@qld.greens.org.au, we need people to help run our stall and have conversations with attendees
About Pride Fair
It's a great event that helps bring together the Gold Coast's LGBTQIA+ Community, with fun stalls all day long. The Drag Pageant is back, as well as the doggy pageant (but entry is open to animal friends of any species). Check out the Gold Coast Rainbow Communities website for more details.
