Gold Coast Pride Festival is back and bigger than ever!
Come join us for a beautiful parade across the beach, a massive Pride Fair, and fluoro after party.
Let’s make the most of our biggest local celebration of queer communities and represent our proud record of standing up for LGBTQIA+ rights. Last year we had an excellent turn out, so let’s keep that momentum going! With trans rights under attack, it’s time to stand up and fight back.
Pride Festival 2023 - Saturday June 3rd
Beach Parade - assemble at Narrowneck (Main Beach) at 10:30am
Pride Fair - 12-5pm at MacIntosh Island Park
After Party - from 5pm at MacIntosh Island Park (tickets $35)
Access:
- Parking available on both the Gold Coast Highway and Main Beach Paradise sides of the park
- Main Beach light rail stop just a few minutes walk away
Come dressed in your Greens t-shirt and the brightest rainbow colours. (Bonus points for creative costumes!)
Registration with us is essential to gauge numbers.
With the coming Fadden by-election plus council, state and federal elections in 2024, Pride is an important event to celebrate LGBTQIA+ pride and show solidarity. Politics on the Gold Coast is dominated by conservatives - it’s time to change that.
Volunteer for the Greens at Pride
If there are any volunteers out there with special skills, who would love to put them to excellent use, please contact us. We would love to hear from any photographers, artists (for banners and decorations, etc.), face painters, and volunteers to help set up and run our stall. About Pride Fair
The parade route will finish at MacIntosh Island Park, where the fair will be held 12pm-6pm. There will be about 30 stalls, food trucks and a stage with entertainment all day. The Drag Pageant is back, as well as the doggy pageant (but entry is open to animal friends of any species). You can glam up at the face painting and glitter station, or take a break in the safe space for trans and neurodiverse folks. Check out the Gold Coast Rainbow Communities website for more details.
