The ACT Government recently announced that all weekend hours for Kippax, Erindale and Civic Libraries will be cut, and no ACT public library will open on Sundays. This was announced while our community petition to reinstate the original hours has garnered over 3000 signatures (and counting!). Add your name to our petition here to call on the government to invest in our libraries!
The new hours will come into effect from Thursday 27 August, making this Saturday the final weekend that Kippax Library will be open. Read the Government announcement here.
