Tonight we'll hear from Corinne Dobson, CEO of ACT Shelter, about housing in the ACT. ACT Shelter is advocating for housing for homeless people and low-income earners. Affordability is very difficult in the ACT, our public housing waitlist rose from around 3,000 to around 3,500 households in the past year, and key organisations and programs like the Rent Relief Fund and ACT Shelter are now at risk too. Find out where things are up to and how you can help.
Bring your friends, family and Green-leaners. This event is open to members and non-members alike. Free pizza and chips, drinks available at the bar.
